Yet, the banks will all add an exchange rate to your Kuwaiti Dinars and a commission of 3%. This implies that, for example when you change the equivalent of a thousand euros from Kuwaiti Dinars to euros you will be cashed a 30 euros commission.
On the other hand, your other alternative might be the airport upon arrival to Spain. Nevertheless, Spanish airports are the most overpriced of all options because the foreign exchange suppliers that work there, have to pay portion of their benefits to the airport owner.
Foreign exchange suppliers that work out of the airport in Spain are a much better option to sell Kuwaiti Dinars to euros.
The functionning of the Kuwaiti Dinar to euro currency exchange is easy to understand. Foreign currency banknotes are tangible products that circulate around the world. Some currencies, such as the dollar or the pound, are very well distributed, and others not so much.
The more difficult it is to sell or buy a currency, the more expensive it will be to buy it. One of the reasons for this is that some countries restrict the quantity of currency you can leave the country with.
If you are planning to make a KWD-EUR exchange, it is recommendable to observe rates at the airport, at your bank and at currency supplier. And much better, to check those rates at Cambiator.
Yes, do not hesitate. We have followed close the Spanish market for currency suppliers and banks for over five years and concluded that, depending on the currency you want to sell, some currencies are easy to accept in exchange for euros but other less frequent ones are not.
Normally the Kuwaiti Dinar to euro price is cheaper if you order them online to collect them in store than if you go directly to the currency supplier office.
The common thing is that the holiday money provider where you will change your Kuwaiti Dinars to euros will ask you to show a valid and current identity document (resident´s ID card (DNI or NIE) or passport in Spain). Take into account that the driver's ID is not usually accepted as a valid identification document.
On the other end banks do not normally request any documentation from their customers who sell Kuwaiti Dinars to euros with them because they will already have identified them at the time of opening an account with them.
All foreign currency providers in Spain are dedicated to the sale and purchase of foreign exchange. If you come back with dinars KWD left over after your trip, you only have to go to Cambiator.es and choose our Sell your currency tab in the top menu.

If you want to sell dinars KWD for more than 5,999 € in value, the requirements that your currency supplier will apply to you will be additional. To rephrase it, they can ask you to prove the origin of your dinars KWD or your business documentation, etc.
Nevertheless up to the equivalent in dinars KWD of 5900 euros per calendar quarter, the Spanish foreign currency providers do not usually ask you for more than the Spanish ID card (DNI or NIE) to change dinars KWD to euros.
As a rule, we suggest you to change your travel money in safe locations and where they do not impose on you a fee, in addition to an exchange margin. Almost all banks in Spain and some physical currency suppliers will impose on you a currency exchange commission of around 3 per cent, with a minimum (whichever is higher), of 6 to 10 euros.
This means that if you exchange the equivalent of 100 € from Kuwaiti Dinar to euro, as well as an exchange margin, you will be charged a fixed commission of between 6 and 10 euros, since it is a larger amount than the 3 euros fee that would correspond to applying 3% to 100 euros. If you exchange the equivalent of 600 euros from Kuwaiti Dinar to euro, they would apply a 3% commission. That is eighteen euros, which is greater than the minimum of between 6 and 10 euros.
